Focus and Scope
The basic goal is achieved the following objectives:
- expansion of the communicative interaction space of Russian and foreign scientists and practitioners in the field of electrical engineering;
- organization of discussions on actual problems of science and practice in the application of scientific field of knowledge;
- formation of open scientific polemics and independent scientific expertise directed at improving the quality of scientific research;
- presentation of the results of scientific research and experimental activities postgraduate students, doctoral and candidates degrees Russian universities;
- publication of materials of scientific conferences, symposia, containing information about Russian and foreign scientific schools in the declared area of knowledge;
- promotion of the Russian and foreign experience in introducing advanced science, technology and innovation in the industry.
The journal publishes scientific articles in Russian and English, with the results of research and practical achievements in the field of electrical engineering in the following areas:
- Electrical equipment and systems;
- Electromechanical systems including their control and regulation;
- Electrical machines and drives;
- Power electronics;
- Analog and digital electronics;
- Alternative energy sources;
- High-voltage equipment.

Articles
Publication policy of the journal is based on traditional ethical principles of the Russian scientific periodicals and is built in terms of ethical norms of editors and publishers work stated in Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors and Code of Conduct for Journal Publishers, developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). In the course of publishing editorial board of the journal is led by international rules for copyright protection, statutory regulations of the Russian Federation as well as international standards of publishing. The editorial board recommends the authors to follow the rules and examples of the documents when submitting articles.
On the publication of the journal is hospitable scientific articles that correspond to the profile of the journal and reflect the results of theoretical and experimental studies of the authors.
Articles published or sent for publication in other journals are not taken.
Submission of the articles to the journal constitutes acceptance of the authors to place in the public version of the full article on the Internet on the official website of the journal and on the official website of the online scientific library eLIBRARY.RU.

Peer Review Process
Submitted manuscripts undergo a preliminary examination of the members of the editorial board. Then pre-approved the manuscript sent to the peer review. As a reviewer, as a rule, should serve a member of the editorial сouncil of the journal. The manuscript may be directed by a decision of the editorial board of the external reviewer. The manuscript may be directed by a decision of the editorial board of the external reviewer – Dr.Sc.(Techn.), skilled in the field of knowledge.
Type of peer-review – "doble blind", the author and the reviewer did not know about each other.
Review period – one week from receipt manuscript to the reviewer.
After receiving the review within two weeks of the editorial board decides on the publication of the article. When a negative review editorial board may submit an article on the re-review, but no more than once.
His decision of the editorial board reported to the author of the article in a week after adoption.

Publication Frequency
Frequency of publication of the journal – a quarterly: the 1st issue in February, the 2nd issue in May, the 3rd issue in August, the 4th issue in November.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
