Using of Pre-Acceleration of Rolling Mill Motor Shaft for Reduce the Dynamic Load

In the article deals an influence of pre-acceleration of motor shaft on impact load. The kinematic and functional schemes of the electric drive of the rolling mill of OJSC “MMK” are shown. A mathematical model of horizontal stand mill was implemented for analyze the dynamic and static functions in the Matlab/Simulink. The experimental dependence of the overshoot on the metal waiting speed had been created.
