Analysis of the Basic Characteristics of Fretting Machine Parts

I.M. Panova, E.A. Yzeva

Abstract

This article explains the basic behavior of fretting process. The main factors were studied, such as amplitude and frequency offsets, amount of contact pressure and surface roughness. Proposed description of the phenomena associated with reversible areas plastic deformations and closure of fatigue cracking. Estimated value of wear, depending on the impact of fundamental factors. Represented by molecular-mechanical and energetic approaches to the description of friction by frettinge. In energy terms, the process of fretting is associated with the conversion of the kinetic energy in the relative movement in the energy of deformation.
