Simulation of Power Characteristics at Threading

Abstract


The comparative analysis of models of power characteristics at cutting of internal threads is carried out. It is shown that the consideration of a limited number of structural and geometric parameters of the cutting tool leads to low convergence of the calculation results. Using the method of planning experiments on plan 23 b, the dependence of the torque value on the angle of the intake cone, the front and rear corners of the sharpening tap in the processing of internal threads in steel 50 is obtained. It is shown that the single-factor experimental analysis as a method for selecting optimal geometric parameters of the tap is unacceptable, and the correlation between them is essential. It is obtained that the nature of the influence of the front and rear angles of sharpening on the torque depends on the thick-ness of the cut.
