Study of the Microstructure and Chemical Composition of Coke Particles Formed after Fragmentation During Rapid Pyrolysis of Wood

Abstract


Using a scanning electron microscope equipped with an energy-dispersive microanalysis system, a study of the microstructure and chemical composition of coke particles formed in the fragmentation process with rapid pyrolysis of wood was carried out. New data on the structure of the surface layer are obtained, it is shown that this layer contains an increased amount of mineral components and there are microspheres. Separate the microspheres detected at the end surfaces of the coke particles can represent the structure of the coke residue another inch type. These studies are important for understanding the processes of chemical transformation of biomass components during rapid pyrolysis and their possible impact on particle agglomeration
