System of Vector-Pulse Start a Synchronous Motor with Intermediate Transformers and Sensorless Determination in Rotor Angular Position

K.V. Litsin

Abstract

The article deals with sensorless method for determining the an-gular position of the rotor of a synchronous motor by means of superimposing a high-frequency signal. The essence of the meth-od is that a high frequency signal excites the voltage or current, which contain information-rotor position. Signal processing tech-niques can estimate the rotor position by using appropriate methods. The pros and cons of the use of such systems to replace systems using rotor position sensor are presented. Among the advantages of the use of sensorless systems, noted the following: improving the reliability of the electric system, reducing the cost of the drive, improving the weight and dimensions. The function-al scheme of using sensorless method for determining the angular position of the rotor in the vector-pulsed start with the pro-intermediate transformers are presented. We consider separately the building blocks of finding vectors flux rotor and stator. The results of the system vector pulse-start with an intermediate transformer, allows us to conclude about the possibility of using the system are presented.
