Abstract

We consider the model of a single-core coaxial cable with a thin endlessly twisted shield. We used a harmonic approximation without propagation processes. The resulting frequency dependence of the axial and angular components of a current density in the core shows the manifestation of skin effect. Resistance of cable shows a non-monotonic dependence upon the angle of a twist cable. Its effect increases along with (the increase of) frequency.
