Abstract

The paper presents the results of testing the technique for obtaining strontium hexaferrite SrFe12O19 by solid-phase synthesis. Using the scanning electron microscope JEOL JSM7001F equipped with an energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence analyzer INCA X-max 80 (Oxford Instruments), the chemical composition of the samples was established in at.%: O – 62,38;  Fe – 34.95; Sr – 2.67. A uniform distribution of iron and strontium ions was detected. It was found that the sample obtained are monophasic. The crystal structure was examined by X-ray phase analysis using a Rigaku Ultima IV diffractometer. The crystal lattice parameters of the obtained samples are calculated: – 5,8829(3) ?; c – 23,0391(7) ?; V – 690,52 ?3. Using the differential scanning calorimetry method, a Curie temperature of 458°C was determined on the Netzsch 449C Jupiter.
