Comparison of Static Models for Salient-Pole Motors with a Reluctance Rotor

Two substitution schemes for one pole pitсh of stator of the motor with a reluctance rotor are considered in the report. The schemes are made in consideration of magnetic flux branching at the edges of the stator pole tips either in the radial direction or in the tangential direction, respectively. The comparison of calculated and experimental results of torque determination allows to make a conclusion about the greater reliability of the scheme with the tangential magnetic flux.
