The Study of Reasons Power Oscillations in the Power System and Developing Methods of their Elimination
Abstract
Currently, the electric power system of developed countries is a set of power plants, power networks and consumers, interconnected and related common mode in a continuous process of production, transformation, power transmission and distribution in the overall management of this regime. The electric power system presenting an interconnection of power sources and consumers is sensitive to the appearance of strong disturbances caused by short circuit, load shedding and so on. In this case, the task of ensuring synchronous operation of generators is the most important. Also the paper discusses ways to improve the reliability of power supply by optimizing the use of existing equipment at the metallurgical enterprises.
