On Paradoxes in Tribology
Abstract
Based on the proven interrelation of friction and the amplitude of the alternating electrostatic field on the surface of the body, the article confirms the correctness of three paradoxes well-known in tribology. They relate to the friction anisotropy; low friction bodies covalent atomic bond; and the friction of metals at very high speed.
