Stability of the Interconnected Power Systems in a Changing Loads and Grid Structure

Abstract


Random dynamic processes in power systems are of great practical importance for the reliability and stability of interconnected power systems (IPS), but not well under-stood. In the analysis of the stability of the weak links of the IPS have to consider load-and outages of generating units. As a rule, the calculation of the trip being the most powerful unit, and the dynamic state of the IPS is not considered. The article carried algorithmic union action of various kinds of disturbances to unify and accelerate the analysis of the stability of the weak links in the IPS respect to the definition of probability of stable parallel operation of the association. For this purpose, the method of canonical orthogonal expansions developed in the theory of stochastic processes, together with the method of statistical tests.
