Application of a Sensorless Control System of an Electric Drive of an Elevator

Abstract


The article presents the results of a simulation in MatLab/Simulink of sensorless control system of frequency-controlled asynchronous electric drive; describes the principle of the algorithm smoothly switching between different types of controls (scalar and vector). The authors analyze the characteristics received and graphics in motion electric drive, shows the features of operation of the electric drive in engine and generator modes. As a result of the research proved that the developed sensorless control system of asynchronous electric drive provides smooth acceleration, motion and braking the electric drive, as well as saving resources and reducing costs. Research results can be used to develop electric drive passenger elevators with a speed of less than 1 m/s.
