Winding Peculiarities of trapezoidal Cross-section in the Electromagnetic system

Abstract


The peculiarities of magnetic field coils of rectangular and trapezoidal cross-sections have been investigated. The picture of the obtained by numerical simulation magnetic field coils of rectangular and trapezoidal cross sections of equal length and magnetomotive force have been presented. The analysis of the results of the magnetic fields study has been carried out. The influence of the values (coefficients) of trapezium winding on trapezoidal distribution along the length of the magnetic induction coil has been introduced. The magnetic field of the solenoid valve-type real sample of these windings has been studied. The picture of the magnetic field of the electromagnet and the analysis of the study results have been introduced. It has been shown that the sensitivity of the solenoid valve-type increases if trapezoidal winding is placed in such a way that the working gap is closer to the larger base of the trapezoid, i.e. in the region where the magnetic field is bigger. The conclusions have been formulated allowing us to conclude about the application appropriateness of trapezoidal coils in electromagnetic systems.
